OCCUPATION: Mom
YEARS WITH CAPS: 9
Children in the Program:
Son, David.

Positive Experiences with CAPS:
I have had the opportunity to meet exceptional individuals with all sorts of abilities. I have seen many volunteers become inspired while opening their hearts and minds and becoming friends with so many of our CAPS families.

Reason to be Involved with CAPS:
My involvement with CAPS began 9 years ago when our son David became a Red Sox Player. Tuesday nights meant baseball and to him that was the most important day of the week. If it rained, oh how we hoped they would still play.

As his confidence grew so did my desire to become involved. I knew I wanted to share my creative abilities and volunteer my time in hopes to bring many more smiles to the wonderful individuals who are a part of this exceptional organization and have brought so much happiness to our family.

How CAPS benefits the Athletes:
I believe that CAPS gives opportunities to individuals with disabilities of many different degrees a place to be themselves where they will indeed build friendships, gain confidence and most importantly participate in the games in which they so love while having fun and the support from their dedicated coaches, families, players and buddies.
